GCC‘s Cultural Economics and Their Role in Fighting Corruption

The study aims to underscore the importance of the development of cultural economics that plays an active role in taking part in launched initiatives, or adhered conventions or even concerned professional bodies that are established to combat corruption. The aim of this roleis to help increase individuals’ knowledge and awareness and to stress the fact that their awareness is absolutely necessary to combat corruption. This would also be a help for them to select the most powerful tools they need to combat corruption; what rights can be guaranteed by competent authorities; and what position can be provided for them. Individuals’ knowledge and awareness of corruption would also better help them exert voluntary efforts to combat corruption, particularly in the absence of a culture of combating corruption. Therefore, it is an absolute necessity for individuals to be fully aware of how important their role in combating corruption is and how much value it would add to today’s societal culture.

Cultural economics is one of the most factors that can have a huge impact on administrative systems. This would definitely make the GCC countries reconsider their role in developing  valid and reliable methods for the sake of  combating corruption.
