Abstract:
The present issue of the << strategic report >> reviews an extremely important and complex issue, namely the demographic composition of the state of Kuwait, and its decades-long imbalance. The persistence of this issue without definitive solutions has led to clear negative impact on Kuwait’s national security at all levels and in its political, economic, and social spheres. The coronavirus pandemic has gripped the country since the beginning of this year has undoubtedly revealed profound demographic imbalances and their negative effects on the state and society. It’s necessary to act immediately and expeditiously to resolve this issue and to close its file in the strategic interest of the state of Kuwait. In this sense, the present issue of the strategic report aims to identify the kinks in this issue, the main causes, and factors of its emergence. As well as making some suggestions and recommendations to address this thorny issue.
