Abstract:
The study aims to identify the level of anxiety due to the Corona virus “Covid 19” in the State of Kuwait, and to detect differences that are attributed to some demographic variables: (Gender, age, and educational qualification). To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (868) Kuwaitis. The study included the Corona “Covid 19” anxiety scale, which was prepared by Salem Al-Mutawa, and the scale’s validity and reliability were verified. The results of the study showed moderate levels of anxiety among the study sample. In addition, those females are more anxious than males, and there are no statistically significant differences in the level of anxiety according to the two variables: age and educational qualification. The study presented a set of recommendations and proposals for future studies.
