Abstract:
The Gulf Crisis represent a security dilemma, the effects of which will -undoubtedly- be clear and serious for small countries, one of which is the state of Kuwait. In view of the lack of confidence and the intensification of regional and international conflicts, Kuwait has dealt with the crisis through two factors. The first is increased military expenditure and increased armaments. The other is the building of new alliance with major states in several vital areas: such as China’s involvement in building the infrastructure of the (Silk City). As an additional pivot to ensure its security and sovereignty, avoiding any internal threats or external interventions. The strategic report is divided into four themes of discussion: the impact of the Gulf crisis on the state of Kuwait, relying on the understanding and interpretation of Kuwait’s foreign policy, the identification of its soft power tools and the handling of new challenges posed by regional and international data on its national security.
